Using Trigger input

More and more impressed with my P452. Using a new, expensive and excellent Audio Research valve LS28SE pre-amp, the clarity and accuracy of the P452 shows it off better than any power amp that I've tried, costing multiples or even ten times the price. Now with new speaker cables that are a tiny bit too short I need to rotate the P452 by 90 degrees to make a tidy connection, but then am unable to easily access the power button. If using the trigger connection and (allowing the pre-amp to warm up first) after say 15 minutes, then turn on the power point to activate the P452 will this be safe for the amp and speakers? Im really pleased you are enjoying the amp

Doing as you describe should be absolutely fine. The amp module will not go active until all power supply voltage rails are up and stable, so shouldnt behave any different to coming out of standby using the front panel button.
